Oli is a Global Talent Leader with over 19 years of experience. He’s passionate about building and leading high-performing teams across multiple industries and geographies.
Currently, Oli leads the Global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence at GKN Automotive, a market-leading, 25,000-person automotive technology and manufacturing company. Previously, he was at Meta/Facebook, where he led the Operations, Projects, and DEI team for the EMEA region.
Oli’s experience includes building talent functions from scratch, including processes, people, systems, and technology. He’s also successfully led an initiative to improve diversity within BP by targeting ex-military personnel in the UK. Oli’s a big fan of DEI and love to create inclusive environments wherever he goes. In his free time, you’ll find Oli exploring new places, cooking and playing or watching any type of sport.

I’ve proud of the CoE team I’ve built from scratch and the impact that team has on the business every day

I regularly use the RL Community and have used the collective mind on so many occasions to help make my day job easier and more efficient.
What is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?
With the hype and rise of AI I predict that 2025 will be the Year of the Recruiter. I think this will be a new breed of Recruiter that will leverage the potent combination of behavioural psychology, advanced data analytics and cutting edge AI to not just fill roles, but to truly understand and predict the evolving needs of candidates and their business.
