Martin started in TA over 20 years ago then broadened into talent strategy design & delivery and has spent the last 5 years into leadership roles responsible for all aspects of People & HR.
His main interest is seeing people fulfil their potential, ideally alongside delivering a mission that’s exciting and ground-breaking. Martin likes building from the ground up, or looking for ways to make things work better, and helping organisations maximise their performance.
Outside of work, Martin enjoys fell running, ultra running, climbing hills, and being in the mountains.
What’s a professional achievement of yours from 2024 that you are proud of?
Supporting an extremely fast-paced organisation (and its leadership) through an extremely challenging year to deliver outcomes and results that no other organisation in the world has been able to achieve – it’s very rewarding!
How has the RL Community helped you this year?
Peer support when I’ve needed it and ideas, content and knowledge that I can apply in our very young but rapidly evolving company
What is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?
Everyone being a bit clearer about where they fit and what role they have to play (recruitment consultancy vs internal TA functions vs AI & tech)
