Lorna’s career has spanned flowers, guided missiles, car seats, planes and MRI scanners! Over the last 20 years she has worked across supply chain, engineering and HR in Multiple industries. Focused on process improvement and change management, Lorna has led and been part of teams that really make a difference to the way we work.

Outside of work Lorna enjoys making silver jewellery, getting involved in a family passion for Vintage cars, and spending time working in her garden.

How has the RL Community helped you this year?

I have well and truly stepped outside of my comfort zone with public speaking after a slot at RecFest this year. Having the opportunity in previous years to speak at summits supported my growth to speaking in front of a is massive audience and a slot on the one show.

Finally, what is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?

My guess is we will see Talent and the broader resourcing (ie Contigent, SOW, internal mobility) functions and strategies come closer together with Recruiters needing to step more and more into coaching managers on the right resource to suit their needs
