Kate is a Chartered CIPD HR professional, with over 20 years experience in HR. She has proven experience and a successful track record as a Talent Acquisition Leader whilst also dipping her toes in generalist HR. She has worked with both private and public companies, and has been working with a regulatory body in the UK for the last 17 years. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, travelling and sharing happy memories with her husband, friends and cat.

What’s a recent professional achievement of yours that you are proud of?

I am really proud to have been elected as an employee representative on our pensions management board. Professionally this will be an excellent development opportunity expanding my knowledge of pensions and I’m particularly proud to have received the support from colleagues across the organisation who voted for me demonstrating my credibility as a senior leader.

What is your prediction for the future of the TA industry?

Skills based hiring, reshaping the traditional recruitment process such as shortlisting and interviewing to adapt to AI and neurodiverse conditions, potentially splitting TA out of the HR function, focusing more on internal talent and mobility, and more data driven decision making to adapt to market conditions.

What projects are you planning on working on in 2026?

Our next People Plan including new EDI targets to sit alongside the Corporate Strategy and efficiencies in our recruitment process and addressing the impact of AI .
