Julie is passionate about all aspects of global TA, with an interest in EVP, EDI, technology, data & analytics, immigration and mobility. Outside of work she enjoys travelling and has a fascination for architecture, exploring diverse cultures and trying great food!

What’s a professional achievement of yours from 2024 that you are proud of?

In 2024, I took on a new role, expanding my scope outside of TA, into global HR Operations. In this new role I have taken on HR information systems, payroll, compliance and process. Following M&A activity, we have begun to integrate our three sites, centralising TA and globalising many of our HR policies

How has the RL Community/helped you this year?

RecFest is a great event, providing an opportunity to network with like minded individuals, sharing ideas and hearing about their initiatives. Taking part in the surveys helps to advise future thinking, understanding if their are mutual challenges due to market influence

Finally, what is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?

I foresee AI being challenged and enhanced to enable its use effectively across TA in a number of different ways. The market could provide an interesting dynamic globally, creating challenges for TA due to a potential recession in the UK, political considerations and other economic activities that could happen
