James is a talent leader who enables the recruitment, development, and performance of organisations that are building reputation, targeting growth or transformation. He currently leads talent management at Open Society Foundations (OSF), having previously led the transformation of talent acquisition and redeployment process at OSF, as it made significant organisational changes with a new operating model. James has had the privilege of working across multiple sectors, including energy, healthcare, digital transformation, consumer products, insurance, and now global philanthropy.

What is your prediction for the future of the TA industry?
Increased differentiation in recruitment outcomes between value-add talent acquisition and the race to the bottom on costs due to the introduction of more sophisticated AI tools.
What projects are you planning on working on in 2026?
Within talent acquisition, further embedding talent intelligence and total talent solutions. Within Employer Brand, the embedding of our EVP and revisions to our EB campaigns (both internally to support P&C across all teams & external for talent).
