Daniel is an experienced Talent Acquisition Leader, with 14 years in the industry to date. He has always had a bias towards Tech companies and Tech hiring, but has been fortunate enough to also lead GTM & G&A hiring during his time. Daniel is very passionate about driving fair and equitable hiring processes as well as a keen advocate of data-driven decision making. The world of TA feels like it is constantly changing and being challenged, so it is our role as TA Leaders to stay on top of what is happening and support our teams to adjust and align as needed.
Daniel primarily spends his spare time with his young family and dogs – whilst enjoying learning Korean as a way to keep his brain active!
What’s a professional achievement of yours from 2024 that you are proud of?
In 2024, I am very proud of the work our tech hiring team to increase the number of hires we could make per month, whilst maintaining a high quality of hire and reducing time to hire in parallel.
How has the RL Community/helped you this year?
The RL Community has helped me with ideas, insights and practical guidance on one level – whilst also providing a community of some of the friendliest people I have met, who are there to lift each other up.
Finally, what is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?
My prediction for 2025 is that we will see a resurgence of hiring, and whilst it may not get back to 2020/2022 levels – I do think the fight for talent will resurface!
