What’s a recent professional achievement of yours that you are proud of?
The biggest piece of work I am most proud of for 2025 is the creation and go live of a BSC International Business and AI degree programme in partnership with Derby Uni aimed at disrupting the education sector by challenging the traditional approach to degree programmes, combining theoretical learning with practical application real experience enabling students to make the transition to work easier and faster.
We know Employers need to do more to help students enter the workplace successfully so by integrating industry projects, mentorship and experiential learning into the curriculum we will help students bridge that gap between classroom theory and demands of the workforce. It will reduce the traditional time spent of degrees enabling students to gain practical skills alongside academic knowledge.
As artificial intelligence reshapes industries and disrupts traditional business models, this programme prepares students to navigate and lead in this rapidly changing landscape. By integrating international business and AI, students can apply advanced technological solutions, enhancing decision-making and driving innovation. Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical application, students will develop the commercial acumen, intellectual resilience, and ethical awareness required to harness AI’s potential effectively. This synergy empowers them to lead businesses through digital disruption while maintaining a competitive edge in an increasingly interconnected world.
This model not only accelerate career readiness but also addresses the evolving needs of RR- hopefully making education more dynamic relevant and efficient.
For the university market there is potential that this becomes a drag and drop for unis everywhere.
In parallel I also created an Enterprise-wide future skills accelerator programme -Postgraduate qualification offered in partnership with Rolls Royce and is designed to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive at RR and in the future world. The model will blend academia with business experience to harness a learning in the flow of work culture, allows them to apply their knowledge quickly in a business setting so they can have real business impact over 12 months.

What is your prediction for the future of the TA industry?
When I think about the future of TA, I believe we are currently about the enter one of the biggest transformations we have seen in this space moving to a model where we no longer value job titles and hierarchical structures and we concentrate on unlocking human potential through skills. Having spent the last few years leading the skills and future talent agenda i’ve seen how technology, demographics and shifting expectations are colliding to reshape the very DNA of how orgs connect with their talent.
The future will involved building capability ecosystems over recruiting for “fixed roles”. AI will map skills across internal and external workforces in real time, surfacing adjacencies and unlocking employees potential like never before.
The CV is dead and will be replaced with digital type skills passports that tell the full story of the individual’s capability, curiosity and growth.
Tech will make recruitment work smarter not harder and whilst is will replace alot of “tasks” it will elevate recruiters and they will become like “talent architects” combining data, empathy, strategy and help it make sense.
for our gen Z and gen alpha careers wont be defined by hierachy but rather impact and life experience and of course flexibility
ultimately TA’s job is to stand at the intersection of skills, tech and humanity and connect them so we move from hiring people to activating potential
What projects are you planning on working on in 2026?
2026 will see the Degree Programme and Post graduate programme go live and see our first cohort through, continue to evolve our skills strategy and embedding our new skills assessment process so that we can validate skills across the enterprise. I am also working with the RLCommunity on project impact with Adrian to standardise talent reporting across the industry.
