What’s a recent professional achievement of yours that you are proud of?
Over the past year, my proudest moment occurred during my work with Girls Out Loud when I received feedback from the teacher of a young girl I mentor. The teacher shared that she had never heard her speak as much or as openly before. This small yet significant moment deeply resonated with me and reinforced the impact of our mentoring efforts. It highlighted how crucial it is for young girls in today’s society to have a safe space where they can express their feelings and receive support. This validation not only strengthened my commitment to mentoring but also emphasised the importance of creating environments where young individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to share their voices.
I also have also joined the board of as trustees at CATTS charity, where I leverage my knowledge and experience in HR and recruitment to support and drive the organisation forward. In this role, I aim to empower young people to raise awareness around cancer and its impact, driving a sense of community and encouraging proactive engagement in health-related discussions.
What is your prediction for the future of the TA industry?
I believe AI will continue to drive the conversation but a gold standard candidate journey with human touch points and interactions will always be required. The market will become more stretched across healthcare due to the government white paper proposals.
What projects are you planning on working on in 2026?
Going live with inploi, developing candidate profiles, creating a podcast and developing a suite of video content to promote our EVP.
