Sean Mcguire is the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at a Fortune 500 engineering company, where he leads a diverse, high-performing team across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, India, Singapore, and Australia. With a proven track record in building and scaling global recruitment functions, Sean previously spent over five years at NEOM, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the talent acquisition strategy and infrastructure. His leadership was instrumental in enabling the organisation to achieve over 100% year-on-year growth through the implementation of scalable processes and systems.

What’s a recent professional achievement of yours that you are proud of?

Upon taking over talent acquisition at KBR, I centralized the function to create a global TA team. It allowed us to run a leaner, most cost efficient team whilst giving us the ability to scale the team and utilise capacity in global geographies, to meet our project requirements.

What is your prediction for the future of the TA industry?

AI will help to create efficiencies in repetitive tasks. This will allow TA to be more of a value adding function. Building touchpoints, relationships and telling story of our organisations.

What projects are you planning on working on in 2026?

Increased global adoption of our tech stack and optimising those tools to give a great experience to candidates, recruiters and our hiring managers.
