Mary is a People professional with over 13 years of experience in talent acquisition, performance management, mobility & management consulting. She’s interested in moving towards a fully skills based talent acquisition model and the integration of artificial intelligence into the talent acquisition process.

What’s a professional achievement of yours from 2024 that you are proud of?

We successfully launched the Dubai Sandbox. It is the first regulatory sandbox of its kind as it focuses on multiple rather than singular industries. I was able to sandbox our talent acquisition process, hiring the first 5 critical roles for the Sandbox by identifying the right talent and then developing the roles based on the individuals who we wanted to join us.

How has the RL Community helped you this year?

The RL Community has been integral in pushing my thinking and my approach to talent acquisition. I have also been able to develop very strong professional relationships with the amazing RL Community members, where we have been able to bounce ideas off of each other, share resources and support.

What is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?

We will shift more into skills based recruiting rather than experience based, and we will need to ensure that our talent is well versed in Prompting and AI.
