Ms Gargi Banerjee, GPHR, SPHRi, alumni of IIM -Ahmedabad is certified as a Senior Global Professional in Human Resources (HRCI, USA) and an astute leader working in the strategic HR domain since more than one and half decades.

Gargi Banerjee holds the role of Head of Talent, Culture & Organization Development in Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries, from where she passionately drives, the People and Culture agenda. Her strive to enable people be the best they can be in the workplace, comes from her strong belief that given the right opportunity, everyone wants to be the best version of themselves. With over 18 plus years of experience enabling talent and leadership development within organizations as diverse as FMCG, Medical Devices, Manufacturing and Energy sector she has led the function from the very heart of fostering the right culture for growth, matching skills with opportunities, and enabling leaders to learn, grow and lead. Ms Gargi is a regular facilitator, panelist and presenter in various international conferences discussing Future of Work, talent and DEI amongst other topics. She is a contributor as a guest lecturer with the American University of Dubai and she regularly mentors young HR middle level managers in finding their voice and path to success.

In her present role, Gargi is responsible to drive & establish the whole gamut of value driven strategic HR focusing on global talent management, leadership development, performance management, enterprise-wide capability development, HR automation & transformation for Julphar in the 16+diverse markets.

With a strong experience MEA, South Asian and Indian subcontinent, Gargi being a trusted advisor, strategist with implementation excellence has been instrumental in setting up HR departments with structure, policy and right practices, driving impactful value-added business partnering, cultural change management across multiple geographies

She has worked with major multinational organizations like, Novo Nordisk, Johnson & Johnson, Amway, Reckitt Benckiser, Cadila group etc & having a strong sectoral knowhow of Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Medical & FMCG industries.

Gargi serves the HR and business fraternity as an international keynote speaker and expert panellist in various prestigious forums & conferences. Additionally, she actively contributes to developing the next gen HR as a guest faculty of HRM in multiple top rated academic institutions in UAE & India.

In recent times her contribution as a keynote speaker in HR Congress- Europe, HR Excellence Summit – MENA, HR Leadership Summit – MENA, HRSE -Dubai, HR International Square- Italy etc has gained a lot of appreciation from the HRM fraternity. In 2023 she was the recipient of a prestigious Women Excellence Award as a recognition of her exemplary innovation and HR transformation.

Academically, she holds a worldwide accredited HRCI certifications, Strategic HRM from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Master’s in biology from University of Calcutta. She lives in Dubai with husband and daughter.

Successfully lead a comprehensive Change Management and Culture Transformation program for a diverse multicultural organisation impacting employee well being and DEI agenda.

RL community helped me to provide multifaceted best practices from industry colleagues. Supported me to brush up my knowledge and skill, helped me to create more meaningful network withing the HR fraternity.

What is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?

More AI disruption in candidate screening, the growing debate of hiring for experience / skill over mindset and learning agility. How TA is envisioning the recruitment and retention of GEN Z in the workforce.
