David has lived in the UAE for over 3 years. Previously, he lived in Birmingham, and is a big football fan, particularly Aston Villa.

What’s a professional achievement of yours from 2024 that you are proud of?

I took on a bigger and broader role heading up the whole of P&C. Previously I headed up TA, now it also includes, People Operations, Performance, Development & Engagement. My biggest TA Achievement is that we were voted #1 out of 500+ companies in the category of ‘The Candidate Experience’.

How has the RL Community/helped you this year?

Helped me to see how other leaders & companies are leveraging technologies in their TA processes. Particularly the use cases for AI which have given myself & the team food for thought.

What is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?

Global economics will continue to play a part, I’m hopeful but not confident of a strong upturn. In the meantime, TA teams will need to adopt lean structures and processes – ensuring to demonstrate value beyond just hiring against numbers.
