Claire Hamilton

Head of Talent Acquisition, Capgemini

With 26 years in industry, across agency, MSP, RPO and now in-house, I’m a problem solver and passionate about driving service excellence and still looking for that perfect link between candidate experience, efficiency, connecting the total talent approach and connecting more deeply with the business to transform TA into the true strategic partnership it needs to be.

What’s a recent professional achievement of yours that you are proud of?

Managing a team through constant change and perpetual rollouts of new tech and processes! Navigating the change in our global operating model and driving the business engagement to enable the future roll out.

What is your prediction for the future of the TA industry?

AI will continue to change how we operate and we must govern and learn how this affects and impacts what we do day to day. How this affects our data, our ability to find truly qualified candidates, and how we ensure that the human factor does not fade into the background as more of what we do becomes automated.
We must continue to elevate the strategic value of TA, moving beyond a transactional engagement to shaping the future of organisations, leading from the front, driving future skills-based hiring and learning, and not expecting the “buy” element of hiring to always fix business challenges.
Data will continue to be a core factor of our skillset and will become a non-negotiable in the skillset of all TA professionals.
Learning how to continue to best position your brand as inclusive and forward thinking will be essential for competitive advantage.

What projects are you planning on working on in 2026?

Execution of the new Target Operating Model for TA, ensuring that the business does not become siloed
