Cath has worked in the recruiting industry for almost 30 years now, spending most of that time running RPO solutions across multiple industry sectors. She now leads talent acquisition for Amazon across EMEA, which includes all our mid – exec level hiring.
Cath is passionate about the science and art of leadership, and helping others to develop as leaders. She’s currently undertaking a masters in Executive Coaching to support that passion further. I am also a strong believer in the need for us to bring employers and the education system much closer together in order to help prepare the next generations for work more effectively. Outside of work, Cath plays cricket and hockey (which hurts so much more as you get older!), live in Wiltshire and is a Mum to 2 awesome teenage boys and a dopey labrador.

How has the RL Community/helped you this year?

I’ve attended 2 summits and RecFest personally and really enjoy the level of trust and fun the community has – everyone’s willingness to share experiences and assistance is incredible.
RecFest is also now a calendar highlight for my team!

Finally, what is your prediction for the TA industry for 2025?

I think (hope!) we’ll start to work through the hype around AI and make some smart decisions about how to integrate it without losing the critical human elements of our work.
